The event combining science, popularisation and sharing will take place on Thursday, 26 and
Friday, 27 October 2023 at Villa Borromeo in Sarmeola di Rubano, Padua.
DSB RETREAT, the annual gathering of the Department of Biomedical Sciences aims to foster
scientific collaboration and bring research closer to the general public, encouraging people to
appreciate its importance.
The observations and measurements conducted in the last participatory glaciological campaign, organised by the Museum of Geography of the University of Padua in collaboration with the Italian Glaciological Committee and ARPAV, confirmed what the experts already knew dramatically: the Marmolada glacier continues to shrink, in surface and volume, with significant rapidity.
