A new study published in the journal “Nature Communications”, carried out with the contribution of several international researchers, including Tomaso Patarnello and Luca Bargelloni, professors at the Department of Comparative Biomedicine and Nutrition at the University of Padua, analyses and describes how global warming could affect the poles and their biodiversity.

n order to finance both the trip and project activities, LEDS for Africa is looking for students from all study programmes who are willing to get involved and help with fundraising.
The project is open to all students who are willing to learn new skills, get involved and try to make a difference in their own small way.
Late in October 2018 the catastrophic storm Vaia swept through Trentino and Alto Adige,
Veneto, Lombardy and Friuli Venezia Giulia, causing extensive damage with floods and
falling trees throughout the area.
Five years on, a review of the many projects launched in response to the devastation caused
by the event, and of the difficulties encountered in attempting to restore the devastated
forest heritage presents both criticalities and significant positive aspects.
