Ecopìa – Eco partnership for interdisciplinary action is born, an international network for co-constructing a new vision of sustainability. The call for abstracts is now open to take part in the opening symposium, scheduled for April 22-24, 2026, at the University of Calabria.
The second edition of the ‘10 Theses for Sustainability’ competition is now open, the first Italian degree award dedicated to sustainability in all disciplines. Promoted by the Symbola Foundation, Luiss Guido Carli and Unioncamere, the competition awards €2,000 to each of the 10 winners selected from among master’s degree graduates in 2022/2023 and 2023/2024. Applications are open until 31 January 2026.
From 25 to 28 November 2025, the 8th edition of Padova Model UPR returns, an advanced simulation of the UN Universal Periodic Review mechanism, which assesses the state of human rights in member countries. Aimed at university students, the initiative is conducted in English and faithfully reproduces the functioning of the United Nations UPR process. Registration is open until 3 October (EU) and 5 September (non-EU).
