Privacy

This information is provided pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter EU Regulation), in relation to personal data that the University of Padua, as Data Controller, comes into possession for the performance of activities resulting from access to the site www.sostenibile.unipd.it by users. The processing of personal data is based on principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of confidentiality and all the rights of those concerned, as specified in the following information.

  1. Data Controller

The Data Controller is the University of Padua (hereinafter referred to as the University), with registered office in Via VIII Febbraio n. 2, 35122 – Padua (certified e-mail: amministrazione.centrale@pec.unipd.it).

  1. Data Protection Officer

There is a Data Protection Officer at the University, appointed pursuant to Art. 37 of the EU Regulation. The Data Protection Officer can be contacted at privacy@unipd.it.

  1. Sources and types of data

We specify the personal data that may be processed by the owner for the purposes indicated in paragraph 4

a) data provided in case of request for information and assistance;
b) navigation data relating to the use of services offered within the site, collected through cookies, in accordance with the relevant information available at the following link: http://www.unipd.it/privacy.

The above data are processed only to the extent that they are necessary to achieve the purposes described in paragraph 4 of this information.

  1. Purpose of treatment

The data collected are processed exclusively for statistical analysis, for the sole purpose of improving the services offered and for the minimum time necessary to carry out the service.

  1. Modalities of data processing

II processing will be carried out both manually and with the aid of electronic means, or otherwise automated, and includes, in accordance with the limits and conditions set by the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679: collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, cancellation and destruction of data.

  1. Communication and dissemination of data

The data collected will not be disclosed or communicated to third parties, except in cases provided for in the information and / or the law and, anyway, in the manner permitted by this.

The data may be disclosed to those responsible for or in charge of the processing, within their respective functions and in accordance with the instructions received, only for the achievement of the specific purposes indicated in this statement.

  1. Data storage

The determination of the period of retention of your personal data complies with the principle of necessity of processing. Your personal data will therefore be kept for as long as is necessary to carry out the purposes stated in point 4. Once the above terms have expired, the User’s data may be deleted, anonymized and/or aggregated.

  1. Rights of the interested party

With regard to such data, you may exercise all the rights provided for in the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679.

  1. How to exercise your rights

To exercise their rights, the interested party may contact the University by writing to the certified e-mail address amministrazione.centrale@pec.unipd.it or to the e-mail address urp@unipd.it. Alternatively, the interested party may write to: University of Padua, Via VIII Febbraio n. 2, 35122 Padua.

  1. Any changes to the policy

The University of Padua has the right to amend or supplement this policy at any time.
