Sustainable Art Prize 2025: Mercedes Lachmann wins with an artistic project combining ecological awareness and shared memory
In the context of the ArtVerona fair, the Sustainable Art Prize 2025 was awarded to Mercedes Lachmann. Selected from ten finalists, the artist was recognised for her ability to weave natural materials, knowledge and collective memories into an artistic practice that stimulates ecological awareness. The project will now continue, involving students from the universities of Venice, Padua and Verona in the creation of a new work that will come to life in autumn 2026.
