The University of Padua achieved a distinguished fourth-place finish in the second edition of the Alma Mater Chess Tournament, an international university competition held in Bologna from September 12 to 14, 2025. Furthermore, our student Giorgio Belli was honoured with the award for “Best Italian Chess Player,” highlighting the strong performance and high standards of the UniPD Chess Club team.
On the occasion of European Sustainable Mobility Week, the University of Padua is participating in ‘Giretto d’Italia 2025’, a national challenge that promotes sustainable means of transport for commuting between home and work or home and university.
