The international research team co-ordinated by Dr Francesca Arcudi and Professor Luka Ðorđević from the Department of Chemical Sciences at the University of Padua and Professor Joe Hupp from Northwestern University recently reported an efficient strategy to convert acetylene to ethylene.
In December 2024, with the aim of promoting within the Athenaeum good practices in the management of resources and consumable goods, the Goods and Services Management Office and the Information and Telematics Services Area launched the reuse portal. This platform makes it possible to enhance the value of institutional assets that are no longer needed but still usable, through relocation to other University facilities.
In December 2024, the new mural ‘Custodi dei beni’ (Keepers of the goods) was inaugurated at the Department of Economics and Business Sciences ‘Marco Fanno’ of the University of Padua. It was realised in cooperation with the Liceo Artistico Amedeo Modigliani with the contribution of the Third Mission Project of the University of Padua (Call for Proposals 2023) within the ‘Art and Sustainability’ action.
