On Wednesday 27 June 2024, a meeting will be held in Aula Nievo, at Palazzo del Bo, at 5 p.m. to tell some true stories of young people fleeing from their countries of origin due to conflicts, discrimination and restrictions on their freedom, supported by scholarships provided by the University’s Students at Risk programme. The event is free by reservation.
Project “Tessere – Weaving Specific Knowledge and Acknowledging Experience” was presented at the Padua Municiplity on Friday, 12 April.
The Municipality of Padua, the leading actor in the territorial anti-violence network, along with Centro Veneto Progetti Donna and Cooperativa Relazioni Positive, responded to the call of the Department for Equal Opportunities of the Prime Minister’s Office with this project, which has thus been approved and allocated funds amounting to two hundred thousand euro for two years.
The third edition of the University of Padua’s Gender Balance 2020-2022 is now online.
In 2017, the University was among the first in Italy to equip itself with this fundamental reporting tool in the process of planning and monitoring gender equality policies.
