On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026, the University of Padua renews its commitment with “8 marzo diffuso”, a calendar full of initiatives open to the public dedicated to gender equality, combating discrimination, harassment and violence, and the multidimensional protection of rights.
Following last year’s positive reception, the Department for Equal Opportunities of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers is once again launching the public notice “L’Italia delle donne” (Italy of Women), an initiative aimed at making women who are significantly linked to the territory part of the national collective memory. The deadline for submitting biographies to the Municipality of Padua is November 17.
On Wednesday, 18 June, the results of the seventh edition of the University Impact Rankings, the ranking compiled by the international publication Times Higher Education (THE), were released. The aim of the ranking is to analyse the ability of universities to contribute to the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.
