On the occasion of the 20th Fragile Areas Conference to be held on 28 and 29 March 2025 in Rovigo, the Call for Papers dedicated to women and gender perspectives and practices is open (until 31/12/2024), with the title ‘Knowledge, recognition, gratitude. Women in fragile rural areas’.
On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, November 25, the University of Padua, in collaboration with the City of Padua, has launched the “Io vedo, io sento, io parlo” (I See, I Hear, I Speak) campaign with the aim of supporting the dissemination of seven principles of nonviolent and/or discriminatory behavior by promoting the adoption of the same on a daily basis, and the awareness of all citizens on these issues.
The opportunity to nominate one’s dissertation for the “Ingenio al Femminile” Prize, now in its fourth edition, ends on July 22.
The Prize is promoted by the National Council of Engineers and is aimed at the best undergraduate and doctoral theses written by women in the field of engineering, with the aim of enhancing their figure and role in this field, also in line with Goal 5- Gender Equality of the UN Agenda 2030.
