Special Projects
The University of Padua is committed to ensuring an open and inclusive educational environment for all students. To achieve this, the University develops and promotes projects that favour the right to study and the right to education for people in vulnerable situations by offering resources, skill assessment and activities both in and outside its classrooms.
The University Rehabilitation Project for Prisoners
With the support of the Department of Penitentiary Administration of the Italian Ministry of Justice, the university carries out a training activity project for inmates of the Triveneto Penitentiary Institute. To foster the re-education and social reintegration process, as foreseen in the Constitution of the Italian Republic, the project offers seminars to student inmates, judicial collaborators, correctional officers and all those involved in the re-education process.
