University between study and leisure: online call for proposals to finance cultural initiatives promoted by students at the university

From1 to 30 October 2024, students can take part in the University of Padua’s call for proposals aimed atfinancing projects and associationsthat contribute to making study more profitable and improving the quality of university life, particularly by fostering student-run activities in thefields of culture and the arts, sport and leisure.
The amount made available is EUR 200,000. The types of initiatives that can be financed (which must take place between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025) are:
- Cycle of conferences and seminars (including book presentations and research)
- Exhibitions
- Film festivals
- Theatre activities, artistic performances, artistic-creative workshops
- Live music concerts
- Editorial products, student magazines and newspapers
- Sports initiatives and tournaments
- Related initiatives, understood as an event that brings together two or more of the above-mentioned types of initiatives.
Furthermore, for the academic year 2024/25 it is possible to join the project‘One more initiative in collaboration with the Alumni Association of the University of Padua’, which makes available anadditional €5,000.00 for initiatives falling within the same types of events and organised with the active participation of one or more Padua alumni or alumnae, which are able to interpret and explore the spirit of belonging that unites the community of alumni and alumnae of our University.
The application must be submitted by following the instructions on the dedicated pagewww.unipd.it/iniziative-culturali-studentiand by using the online procedure active from 1 to 30 October 2024.
The funding of cultural and leisure initiatives proposed by students is incompatible with any other form of funding from the University.
