Harmonia: a global voice for peace at Expo 2025 in Osaka

From 21 to 27 September 2025, the Salesian University Institute of Venice – IUSVE will be present at the Osaka Expo, inside the Holy See Pavilion, with Harmonia, an innovative project that combines technology, participation and commitment to peace. It is a web app (www.harmoniaexpo.org) that allows people from all over the world to record, in their own language, the message: “Help us build bridges through dialogue and encounter, uniting us all to be one people, always at peace”. The recordings collected will be processed using Artificial Intelligence to create a single ‘Voice of the World’, symbolising the collective will to build a more peaceful and united future.
Harmonia fits perfectly within the scope of Goal 16 of the 2030 Agenda – Peace, justice and strong institutions – and is a concrete example of how technological innovation can be used to promote solidarity, intercultural dialogue and global citizenship education.
For this reason, the entire academic community – students, teachers, technical and administrative staff – is invited to actively participate by recording their message directly on www.harmoniaexpo.org by 27 September 2025.
Every voice counts: every recording contributes to building a choral message. In a historical moment marked by conflict, this project is a concrete expression of the collective commitment of universities to promoting peace.
