The contribution of the University of Padua to the sustainable development of the territory in which it operates and, in a broader horizon, to the global challenges posed by the United Nations 2030 Agenda, is also expressed through its commitment to applied research on sustainability issues and knowledge transfer, generating innovation.

With the adoption of the Sustainability Commitments Charter, the University reaffirms this commitment by declaring it in specific objectives, transversal to the areas of action.
