Via Salutis 2025: On September 6th and 7th, the University of Padua brings medicine to the people

On September 6th and 7th, 2025, “Via Salutis. Padua City of Health – Prevention and care paths for a healthy life” returns to Padua’s historic center. This is the second edition of the initiative promoted by the Department of Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular Sciences and Public Health (DCTV) of the University of Padua.
The event is part of the RINASCO project – Regenerating Nature, Environment, Health Consciously Together, which aims to promote an integrated vision of public health from a One Health perspective. The 2025 edition sees the active participation of new protagonists, such as the Department of Neuroscience (DNS), and the involvement of five departments (Comparative Biomedicine and Food Science – BCA, Agronomy, Animals, Food, Natural Resources and Environment – DAFNAE, Neuroscience – DNS, Animal Medicine, Production and Health – MAPS, Territory and Agro-Forestry Systems – TESAF), committed to protecting human, animal, and environmental health.
Within the event, the University of Padua, through the Public Engagement Office and the FIDAS Unipd section, will be present with an information corner titled “Blood is life. The University for the culture of donation.” The initiative enhances and promotes the national campaign “Donate life. Donate blood”carried out by the Ministry of Health, the National Blood Center, and the main Italian donor federations.
The project is carried out in collaboration with Sapienza University of Rome, University of Calabria, University of Bologna, and University of Messina, with the aim of spreading the culture of voluntary donation within university communities.
Via Salutis 2025 represents a concrete opportunity to bring the public closer to the frontiers of medicine and global health challenges through direct experiences, dissemination, and discussion.
The University of Padua invites all citizens to participate and contribute to building a healthier, more aware, and supportive society.
