27 January: Holocaust Memorial Day. University initiatives not to forget

27 JanuarymarksHolocaust Memorial Day,established by the Italian Parliament with Law 211 of 20 July 2000 .
On this occasion, every yearceremonies, initiatives, meetings and common moments of narration of the facts and reflectionare organised, particularly in schools of all levels, on what happened to the Jewish people and to the Italian military and political deportees to the Nazi camps so that the memory of a tragic and dark period of history in our country and in Europe may be preserved in the future of Italy, and so that similar events may never happen again.
