The Landscape of the Dolomites. Transformation, awareness, responsibility

On Tuesday 12 November, at 3 p.m., a seminar open to the public will be held in the Sala delle Edicole, in Padua, as part of the ‘Sustainable Art Prize’ project, entitled ’The Landscape of the Dolomites. Transformation, awareness, responsibility “.
How is the landscape of the Dolomites changing? How can we be an active part of a process of transformation that poses complex questions, also in the light of climate change, which requires us to combine development and protection of the territory, ethics and civil commitment? This is the theme at the centre of the meeting, which will propose a multi-voice reflection on a question that is as topical as ever, between photography, art and science.
Tommaso Anfodillo, Unipd lecturer in Ecology, together with photographer Giorgio Barrera, curator of the project ‘Anatomy and Dynamics of a Territory’ and Gianluca D’Incà Levis, creator and curator of ‘Contemporary Dolomites’, Professor Francesca Gambarotto, lecturer in Applied Economics, and Professor Mauro Varotto, lecturer in Geography, will be speaking.
Francesca da Porto, Vice-Rector for Sustainability at the University of Padua, will coordinate the meeting.
Participation is free of charge, subject to reservation, subject to availability.
