UNESCO-MAB Young Scientists Awards

Since 1989, MAB has annually supported young researchers with grants to support their research on ecosystems, natural resources, and biodiversity. The MAB Young Scientists Awards are for young researchers conducting interdisciplinary research aligned with the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere (MAB) program. The fellowships, worth $5,000 each, will be awarded to applicants who present interdisciplinary research projects related to the MAB program and, in particular, the Lima Action Plan on Biosphere Reserve Management, and the SDGs relevant to the subject matter. Applications for the MAB Young Scientist Fellowships 2022 are due by January 14.
