The University of Padua takes part in the “Giretto d’Italia”

In the European Sustainable Mobility Week, an initiative that takes place every year to encourage cities to promote sustainable transport measures, the University of Padua has chosen to contribute by joining the “Giretto d’Italia”which will be held on Thursday 16 September 2021: it is a competition between cities to promote the home-work and/or home-school or university trips made in bikes or by using other means of electric micro-mobility, such as electric scooters, monowheel, E-bikes, electric scooters, hoverboards, segways.
Students, Unipd staff and all those who want to support this initiative just need to include the following in their cycling (or e-mobility) route passing through one of the checkpoints during the monitoring time slot, i.e. between 7.30 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. on 16 September.
The winner of the challenge will be the city with the highest number of journeys, and therefore the highest number of passages, made by sustainable mobility means during the monitoring period.
