THE Impact Rankings 2025. Unipd maintains its prominent position in world rankings

On Wednesday, 18 June, the results of the seventh edition of the University Impact Rankings, the ranking compiled by the international publication Times Higher Education (THE), were released. The aim of the ranking is to analyse the ability of universities to contribute to the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.
The University of Padua consolidated its position in the 101-200 bracket of the overall ranking, compared to 2318 participating universities, with a score of 86.1 points out of 100, also achieving excellent results in relation to a number of SDGs, for which the University of Padua records significant rankings worldwide.
Specifically, this is Objective 3 – Health and Wellbeing, for which the University of Padua ranks 34th in the world, up seven places from the previous year, when it ranked 41st in the world.
On the other hand, the University of Padua ranked 35th in the world with respect to Goal 5 – Gender Equality, thanks to its constant commitment against gender discrimination and violence.
It also ranks 57th in the world rankings for Goal 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities.
