Milan Cortina 2026 Olympics: Padua hosts the inaugural conference of the exhibition Communicating Sport. From stamps to hashtags.

As part of the cultural initiatives linked to the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, on Wednesday 21 January, the Aula Magna of Palazzo del Bo will host the inaugural conference of the international exhibition Comunicare lo sport. Dal francobollo all’hashtag (Communicating Sport. From stamps to hashtags). The event is organised by the Alliance Française of Padua in collaboration with the University of Padua and the Padua Chamber of Commerce.
The conference will be an opportunity to reflect on the values of Olympic sport and the role of communication as a tool for dialogue, inclusion and peace among peoples.
The event is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. with a welcome coffee. Following the institutional greetings, there will be speeches by Antonio Paoli, Vice Rector for Wellbeing and Sport at the University of Padua, Marco Mascia, President of the “Antonio Papisca” University Centre for Human Rights, Rossano Galtarossa, Olympic champion and Vice-President of CONI Veneto, together with other representatives of national and international institutions involved in the promotion of Francophonie and sport.
Participation is free, but registration is required.
At the end of the conference, participants will move to Palazzo Santo Stefano, the seat of the Province of Padua, where from 12:00 to 14:00 they will be able to visit the international exhibition, curated by Magali Boureux, and receive a special postmark dedicated to the event.
