Last days to apply for the thesis award named after Giulia Cecchettin, promoted by the Veneto Region

There is still time until July 31, 2025, to apply for the first edition of the “GIULIA CECCHETTIN” AWARD competition for the best thesis on femicide and gender-based violence, promoted by the Veneto Region.
The competition is open to all those who have defended their master’s thesis, in Italian, during the academic years 2023/2024 and 2024/2025. Theses that focus on the phenomenon of gender-based violence, both in the regional context of Veneto and at the national level, will be awarded. The thesis should explore, for example, aspects such as socio-cultural causes, psychological and social consequences, prevention and intervention policies, and public awareness strategies. In particular, works that demonstrate a multidisciplinary approach combining legal, sociological, economic, psychological, and historical perspectives are valued.
Candidates must submit their digital application, attaching:
- An abstract of the thesis in Italian (max. 2000 characters, including spaces
- A copy of the thesis in Italian;
- A certified copy of the degree diploma or a self-declaration certificate pursuant to art. 46 of D.P.R. n. 445/2000 attesting to the degree obtained;
- A copy of a valid identity document (only if the application is not signed with a digital signature).
