Arqus Lounge, international meeting point for university staff

The “Arqus Lounge” initiative has started, an opportunity for the staff of Arqus universities (of which Unipd is a member) to get to know colleagues from other partner universities and talk to them about current topics, daily work, common interests and much more.
The University of Lyon, which coordinates the initiative, invites all Arqus partners to the discussions, starting with the next one on 18 May on “Outgoing mobility: Sharing best practices” (led by UJM – Evelyne Lefèvre, Aurélie Brayet, Julien Strignano, Florence Courtade).
This meeting is the first of a series of 4 workshops on this topic. Each discussion will allow participants to present and discuss various aspects related to outgoing mobility, such as: how universities promote languages and international mobility; how they prepare students before their mobility; how they keep in touch and manage them during their mobility; what happens after mobility: to what extent are students’ competences recognised and their experience promoted after mobility, etc.
To participate, registration is required, by sending an email to arqus_cafe@uni-leipzig.de (contact person: Fabiana de Lima), at least 3 days before the discussion, specifying your name and institutional email address, as well as the language(s) you wish to use during the discussions (language groups will be set up).
