2026 Universal Civil Service with the University of Padua: join us and enjoy an experience of growth

The new Universal Civil Service call for applications is now open! This opportunity is dedicated to young people under the age of 29 who wish to devote a year of their lives to personal and professional growth, contributing to non-violent defence and the social, cultural and economic development of our country.
The University of Padua is also participating in the 2026 call for applications with new projects, confirming an active commitment that has been ongoing since 2002 and has already involved approximately 1,400 volunteers in various sectors, such as education, assistance, culture and the environment.
Features of the programme
The Universal Civil Service lasts 12 months, requires an average commitment of 25 hours per week, for a total of 1,145 hours per year, and offers:
- training activities
- a monthly allowance of 519.47 euros
- insurance coverage.
Submitting your application
Young people from Italy, other European Union Member States or non-EU countries, provided they are legally resident in Italy, may submit only one application for a single project and a single location. Applications must be submitted by 2 p.m. on 8 April 2026 via the dedicated portal at https://domandaonline.serviziocivile.it/.
