Ateneo 2021 bicycle marking kicks off

Also for 2021 the Municipality of Padua has activated the free “bicycle marking” service, a system that consists in punching the tax code of the owner on the bicycle frame and applying an indelible label with the coat of arms of the Municipality of Padua.

It is also possible, if the space on the frame allows it, to proceed to the marking of scooters in the same way as bicycles.

In this way, in cases of theft and discovery of the bicycle, it is possible to trace the legitimate owner. Padua, the bicycle capital and university city, organizes during the year extraordinary markingsreserved also to the staff and students of the University for whom it will be possible to mark their two-wheeled means of transport:

The service is held from 9am to 12pm.

To proceed with the marking it is necessary to:

• fill out and submit the online form
• then present yourself at the marking point with:
  • the bicycle;
  • a printed copy of the completed online form, signed;
  • health card where the tax code is indicated;
  • photocopy of the document indicated in the registration form.
