A weekend of sport and victories for the University of Padua!

On Saturday 8 February, in Turin, the University of Padua rowing team won theNational University Circuit Trophy – CNU 2025, beating the university teams from Genoa and Insubria, which scored 606 and 430 points respectively, with a total of 654 points.

Presenting the cup to thetechnical coordinator of the University of Padua, Gherardo Gamba, and some of the team members were thevice-president of the Italian Rowing Federation, Umberto Dentis, and theFIC federal councillor, Francesca Postiglione.

Then, on Sunday 9 February, the 42nd edition of the‘Winter on the Po’ international cross-country regatta took place in Turin, a university competitionheld over 5,000 metres in thewomen’s and men’s foursome speciality,where our four studentsGiulia Isabella Cohen, Leonora Roncon, Vittoria Stangherlin and Gexi Sunwon thegold medaland the Unipd men’s foursome, consisting ofAndrea Giurisato, Mattia Maculan, Edoardo Santi and Stefan Vasic, took third place.
