There is still time until July 31, 2025<\/strong>, to apply for the first edition of the “GIULIA CECCHETTIN” AWARD competition<\/strong> for the best thesis on femicide and gender-based violence, promoted by the Veneto Region<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>

The competition is open to all those who have defended their master’s thesis<\/strong>, in Italian<\/strong>, during the academic years 2023\/2024 and 2024\/2025<\/strong>. Theses that focus on the phenomenon of gender-based violence<\/strong>, both in the regional context of Veneto and at the national level, will be awarded. The thesis should explore, for example, aspects such as socio-cultural causes, psychological and social consequences, prevention and intervention policies, and public awareness strategies. In particular, works that demonstrate a multidisciplinary approach combining legal, sociological, economic, psychological, and historical perspectives are valued. <\/span><\/p>

Candidates must submit their digital application<\/strong>, attaching:<\/span><\/p>

  1. An abstract of the thesis in Italian (max. 2000 characters, including spaces<\/span><\/li>
  2. A copy of the thesis in Italian;<\/span><\/li>
  3. A certified copy of the degree diploma or a self-declaration certificate <\/span>pursuant to art. 46 of D.P.R. n. 445\/2000 attesting to the degree obtained; <\/li>
  4. A copy of a valid identity document (only if the application is not signed with a digital signature).<\/span><\/li><\/ol>
