The new frontiers of racing vehicles. Unipd at Sustainability Week

As part of the fourth edition of the Sustainability Week, scheduled from 25 to 28 March at the Move Hotels Venezia Nord in Mogliano Veneto, Confindustria Veneto Est proposes, with the presence of representatives of the university community from the University of Padua, the meeting entitled ’Mobilità sostenibile. Le nuove frontiere dei veicoli da competizione ‘.

The event will be held onFriday 28 March, at 2pm, and will explore the innovations and challenges of sustainable mobility in motorsport.

Projects and prototypes of hybrid, electric and e-fuel cars and motorbikesdeveloped by students at the University of Padua will be presented, highlighting the combination of academic research, advanced engineering and environmental sustainability.

For the University of Padua, speakers will include ProfessorGiovanni Meneghetti, head of the ‘Formula Student’ project, Lorenzo ChivòandMarco Volpato, technical manager and electronics manager of the Formula Student hybrid car, respectively;Filippo PesceandRiccardo Zamengo, respectively the mechanical and electronic technical manager of the Formula Student electric self-driving car. Andrea Zausa, business and marketing manager,Veronica Gramaccini, team leader of the hybrid division, andAleksandr Meshchanov, team leader of the electric division, will be speaking for RaceUp Team.

Also speaking for the University of Padua will be ProfessorMatteo Massaro, representing the QuartoDiLitro project, together withGloria Dal Bianco, E-fuel team leader, Marco Rivola, E-fuel project manager, Matteo Cerretani, electric team leader, and Marco Carletti, electric project manager.

The event will also host a car and motorbike dealership, which will offer a perspective on emerging technologies and the transition towards greener mobility solutions. An opportunity for discussion and inspiration for motorsport, innovation and sustainability enthusiasts.
