Third mission: the Universities of Padua and Bologna promote two events on January 25th and March 7th

In light of the developments taking place for the Third mission, the Padua and Bologna Universities are promoting two events of in-depth study, reflection and debate dedicated to the personnel and open to everyone in the academic community who is interested.
On Wednesday January 25th, at 2.30 pm in the Sala VIII Centenario, via Zamboni, 33, Bologna, the meeting entitled “Third mission – Social impact: from the VQR (research quality assessment) results to the next challenges” will be held.
It will be opened by Professor Maria Letizia Guerra, president of the Third Mission Observatory and delegate of the Rector for Public Engagement – University of Bologna, and Professor Monica Fedeli, pro-rector of the Third Mission – University of Padua. Next, a speech by Professor Menico Rizzi, member of the Anvur Board of Directors (National Agency for the Evaluation of the University System).

The event entitled “Entrepreneurial universities: contexts and opportunities. The universities Third mission” will take place on Tuesday March 7th, at 2.30 pm at the Sala Nievo in Palazzo del Bo, via VIII febbraio 2, Padua.
After the introduction by Professor Monica Fedeli, first rector of the Third Mission of the University of Padua, and Professor Maria Letizia Guerra, president of the Third Mission Observatory and delegate of the Rector for Public Engagement – University of Bologna, Giuseppe Conti will speak, president of Netval, an association that since 2007 aims to enhance public research and that networks, among participating institutions, with numerous public research institutions and more than sixty universities.
