Public Call for Research Projects in Support of Sustainability Vectors: Applications until 9 March 2025

The call for public funding for research projectsthat support territorial institutions in implementingthe Sustainability Vectors of the National Sustainable Development Strategy (NSDS) is now online.
These Vectors represent the enabling conditions to trigger and sustain the country’s revitalisation from a sustainable perspective and embark on the path of transformation according to the principles of Agenda 2030:
- Policy coherence for sustainable development;
- Culture for sustainability;
- Participation for sustainable development.
Each of them is divided into specific ‘work areas’ within which there are objectives and trajectories that collect, systematise and map existing initiatives and experiences, providing for further enabling paths.
To this end, € 3,150,000.00 will be allocated by the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security to universities, research organisations and institutes, consortia and foundations to implement projects that contribute to enhancing the capacity of administrations to implement the Sustainability Vectors within the realisation of their sustainable development strategies and agendas.
Submission of applications for the Call for Proposals closes on 9 March 2025.
Proposals must have a partnership character and must mandatorily include at least one institution at territorial level, engaged in the processes of implementing sustainable development strategies and agendas.
The involvement of the University of Padua, as a member organisation of theNational Forum for Sustainable Development, together with collaborating territorial institutions, is a rewarding criterion for access to funding.
