MILLE Project: the multidisciplinary refresher course in sustainable engineering and technology
The School of Engineering at the University of Padua has developed the MILLE Project, an innovative and multidisciplinary online continuing education programme in the fields of raw materials, sustainability, design for circularity and traceability methodologies.
The MILLE training modules, which can be used entirely online, are based on three levels of content development (Basic, Expert, Manager) and focus on five key topics:
– Life Cycle Assessment
– Environmentally sustainable design
– Critical raw materials
– Digital Product Passport
– Business models for circular economy
The complete course catalogue can be found at this link.
Thanks to the micro-credentialing system, combined with digital certification the MILLE training modules are aimed at professionals and workers in various engineering and technology areas; they can be taken online asynchronously (and thus with maximum flexibility) from 21 October 2024. The final micro-credential test must be taken by 15 December 2024.
To participate, you must pre-register by 10 October 2024 by logging on to www.uniweb.unipd.it and selecting participation in one or more MILLE training modules as per the instructions available at this link.
