The Unipd ‘Ambassadors for Sustainability’ are back: registration open until 15 March for the new edition of the General Course

The General Course‘Ambassadors of Sustainability. Knowing, promoting, practising sustainability’, the course that aims to sensitise citizens tomore sustainable behaviourin relation to the urban areathey inhabit and to reinforce their sense of responsibilityin caring for the environment.

After the successof the first edition, the collaboration between thePublic Engagement Office – Communication and Marketing Area of the University of Padua, theMunicipality of Padua andAcegasApsAmgacontinues, for the realisation of a course, hinged among the teachings of the degree course in Science and Technology for the Environment, which is addressed not only atstudents of all three-year and master’s degree coursesat the University of Padua, but also atcitizens who wish to study the theme of urban sustainability in greater depth, who may enrol in the course as a single course

The final objective is to stimulate, through multidisciplinary didactic modules and practical activities, agreater awareness of everyone’s responsibilitiesand to offer concrete tools and good practices for a more effective engagement in solving environmental problemsin the urban environment (resource consumption, waste production, well-being and health in the urban environment).

No previous knowledge of sustainability is required.

Thedeadline for entries is 15 March 2025. In addition, for A.Y. 2024/2025 it is planned to free participation is planned for university staff of up to 20 people.
